Robert Piascik grew up in the Northeast Ohio area and started playing guitar at the age of 8. He took private lessons weekly for 10 years through high school graduation from Hudson High School, then graduated from Kent State University cum laude in 1981 with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. In 1980 he toured American military bases with the USO, visiting Japan, South Korea, Iwo Jima, Midway Island and Hawaii. From 1994-2000 he was employed by Columbus City Schools at Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center as the Vocational Vocal Music Instructor, working with aspiring high school performers. Since 1981 he has played guitar professionally in the Central Ohio area full time as a soloist and band leader and is the owner of his own production company, Pi Entertainment Services, LLC.

If you are a beginning guitar student, lessons begin with easy concepts and move towards the more complex. Reading music and counting rhythm are emphasized along with learning to move each finger independently by playing notes, then combining into small chords then larger chords.
